August Wilson’s American Century

August Wilson's literary legacy – a cycle of ten plays encompassing a century – continues to captivate audiences worldwide with its ability to capture the African American experience with poeticism and wit. When Geva Theatre Center began its commitment to presenting "August Wilson's American Century" during its 2006-2007 season, a program was inaugurated which would include one fully-staged play and one semi-staged reading from the canon over the subsequent five years.
