As urban renewal threatens to dismantle Becker’s jitney – gypsy cab – station, and the neighborhood along with it, his family life teeters on the brink as well, with the return of his son following a 20-year prison stint for murder. Becker and his fellow jitney cab drivers must all rely on hope – and each other – to survive in a world where it’s just as hard to catch a break as it is to catch a cab. Reserve tickets online.
