Geva’s Immersion Weekend invites you to sample the ongoing activities of our theatre artists and rejuvenate your own creativity. One weekend, four dynamic workshops, each one led by our talented artists. Workshop topics include a variety of aspects of theatre and performance, including a sampling of the training from Geva’s acclaimed Summer Academy program. We’ve selected highlights of the process, skills and inspiration for the theatre we create at Geva year-round, and distilled them into a special weekend just for educators. Learn more here.
Our education advisory committee gives teachers a voice in Geva’s educational programming and provides a strong connection to implement that programming back into the classroom. The committee consists of educators from elementary, middle school, and high school levels, representing both inner city and suburban schools, and representatives from organizations that act as liaisons between cultural institutions and schools. Please contact (585) 232-1366 ext. 3058 if you have interest in joining the advisory committee.
