ANNE ALLGOOD (Joanne) makes her Geva Theatre Center debut in Company. Broadway credits include Rosabella in The Most Happy Fella, Nettie in Carousel, The Sound of Music, Beauty and the Beast, and Imaginary Friends. National tours include Floyd Collins, Parade, Evita, South Pacific, and Urinetown. Ms. Allgood has appeared at regional theatres coast to coast. Notable among her numerous Seattle credits are Mary in Mary Stuart, Ursula in Vincent in Brixton, Eleanor/Esme in Rock ‘N Roll, Old Woman in Candide, Nurse in Sunday in the Park with George, Queen in Cymbeline, understudy for Momma in Memphis and A Christmas Story (starring opposite John Bolton). BOBBY DAYE (David) makes his debut performance at Geva Theatre Center. Broadway credits include The Book of Mormon, Shrek, The Color Purple, The Lion King, Smokey Joe's Cafe, The Wiz and Dreamgirls. Mr. Daye is a recipient of the 2010 NYMF Outstanding Individual Performance award. He is the composer of the theme to ABC-TV's “Loving” and can be heard and seen in many Radio and TV commercials.

NICOLETTE HART (Marta) is in complete denial that A Chorus Line was seven years ago, but is thrilled to be back on the Geva Theatre Center Mainstage. Broadway credits include Million Dollar Quartet, Legally Blonde, Rent and The Wedding Singer. Most recently Ms. Hart has been working on the upcoming Broadway show CHIX 6, as well as reacquainting herself with singer-songwriter Melanie, in preparation for the world premiere of new musical, Melanie and the Record Man, debuting at Rochester’s Blackfriars Theatre. Ms. Stockdale also performed in Seussical, Rent, Oklahoma!, and Babes in Arms at Weathervane Repertory Theater. Last spring, she was in the cast of the New York Philharmonic's production of Company directed by Lonny Price at Lincoln Center. ELISA VAN DUYNE (Susan) is ecstatic to have this opportunity to perform a Sondheim show again and make her debut at Geva Theatre Center. JEFF WILLIAMS (Larry) is happy to return to Geva Theatre Center having previously appeared here in 1776 and a reading of Gregg Coffin’s right next to me. Theatre credits include productions of M. Butterfly, The Crucible, The Sisters Rosensweig, Art, Terra Nova, Over The Tavern, Blithe Spirit, You Never Know as well as the Broadway companies of The Pirate Queen, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and The Music Man. Film and TV work includes The Producers, The Musical; “The Sopranos;” “As The World Turns” and “One Life To Live.” Mr. Williams is a Syracuse University graduate and has been a proud Equity member since 1987.

STEPHEN SONDHEIM (Music and Lyrics), one of the most influential and accomplished composer/lyricists in Broadway history, was born in New York City and raised in New York and Pennsylvania. As a teenager he met Oscar Hammerstein II, who became Sondheim's mentor. Sondheim graduated from Williams College, where he received the Hutchinson Prize for Music Composition. After graduation he studied music theory and composition with Milton Babbitt. He worked for a short time in the 1950s as a writer for the television show “Topper;” his first professional musical theatre job was as the songwriter for the unproduced musical Saturday Night. He wrote the lyrics for West Side Story (1957), Gypsy (1959) and Do I Hear A Waltz? (1965), as well as additional lyrics for Candide (1973). Musicals for which he has written both music and lyrics include A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum (1962), Anyone Can Whistle (1964), Company (1970 - 1971 Tony Award Music and Best Lyrics), Follies (1971 - 1972 Tony Award Score and New York Drama Critics Circle Award; revised in London, 1987), A Little Night Music (1973 - Tony Award Score), The Frogs (1974), Pacific Overtures (1976 - New York Drama Critics' Circle Award), Sweeney Todd (1979 - Tony Award Score), Merrily We Roll Along (1981), Sunday In The Park With George (1984 - New York Drama Critics Circle Award; 1985 Pulitzer Prize for Drama), Into The Woods (1987 - Tony Award Score), Assassins (1991) and Passion (1994 - Tony Award Score). He composed the songs for the television production Evening Primrose (1966), co-authored the film The Last of Sheila (1973) and provided incidental music for The Girls of Summer (1956), Invitation to a March (1961) and Twigs (1971). Side By Side By Sondheim (1976), Marry Me A Little (1981), You're Gonna Love Tomorrow (1983; originally presented as A Stephen Sondheim Evening) and Putting It Together (1993) are anthologies of his work. He has written scores for the films Stavisky (1974) and Reds (1981), and composed songs for the film Dick Tracy (1990 - Academy Award for Best Song). He is on the Council of the Dramatist Guild, the national association of playwrights, composers and lyricists, having served as its president from 1973 until 1981, and in 1983 was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Letters. In 1990 he was appointed the first Visiting Professor of Contemporary Theatre at Oxford University. He was also a recipient of a Kennedy Center Honor in 1993.

GEORGE FURTH (Book) was born in Chicago and graduated from Northwestern University; he did postgraduate work at Columbia University. He worked extensively as an actor, appearing in many feature films, including The Best Man, Oh God!, Doctor Detroit, Young Doctors In Love, The Man With Two Brains, Cannonball Run, Hooper, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Blazing Saddles, Shampoo, Sleeper, The New Interns and Myra Breckinridge; he also acted in many major television shows. In addition to Company, he has written the Broadway shows The Act, Twigs, The Supporting Cast, Merrily We Roll Along, Precious Sons and Getting Away With Murder.

MARK CUDDY (Director) is in his seventeenth season as Artistic Director of Geva Theatre Center. This season, in addition to this production of Company, he directed Superior Donuts and A Christmas Carol (which he also adapted). Last season, he directed the premiere of A Christmas Carol and a landmark production of The Music Man. Mr. Cuddy is well known for his staging of premieres, contemporary comedies and musical theatre. Among his Geva Theatre Center productions have been the Mainstage and Nextstage productions of Five Course Love, Fences; Sweeney Todd; A Christmas Story; Pride and Prejudice (which he also co-adapted); Bad Dates; Our Town; Tuesdays With Morrie; Urinetown; Splitting Infinity; Vigil; A Chorus Line; Hamlet; That Was Then (American premiere); Convenience (world premiere musical); 1776; Proof; the world premiere of Thornton Wilder’s Theophilus North which was also seen at Arena Stage in Washington, D.C.; The Miser; the East Coast premieres of both House and Garden; Quilters; Art; Famous Orpheus (world premiere musical) with Garth Fagan Dance; Every Good Boy Deserves Favor with the RPO; Golf With Alan Shepard; Picasso at the Lapin Agile and State of the Union. Prior to his tenure at Geva Theatre Center, Mr. Cuddy directed a number of world and American classics while Artistic Director of the Idaho Shakespeare Festival and Sacramento Theatre Company.

DON KOT (Music Director) is Resident Music Director and Associate Artist at Geva Theatre Center where he celebrates his tenth season! Geva productions include The Music Man, Five Course Love, Sweeney Todd, The House in Hydesville, Cabaret, Urinetown, Our Town, Inherit the Wind, A Chorus Line, Camelot, 1776, A Christmas Carol, Convenience and as part of Hibernatus Interruptus, The Shaggs: Philosophy of the World, One For My Baby, right next to me and An Evening with Mrs. Kasha Davis, International Celebrity Housewife. New York credits include the Women’s Culture Project, Roads Traveled, and elegies for angels, punks and raging queens. MERCIER (Scenic Design) is honored to be an Associate Artist at Geva Theatre Center where he designed The Music Man, Pride & Prejudice; Cabaret; Urinetown; Our Town; Vigil; 1776; Splitting Infinity; Camelot; Five Course Love; Theopholis North;, The Miser; Quilters and The Beauty Queen of Leenane. PAMELA SCOFIELD (Costume Designer) designed last year’s production of The Music Man, as well as dozens of other Geva Theatre Center productions, going back to 1981. Among her Off-Broadway credits are Almost, Maine; I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change - which she also designed for the Chicago and San Francisco productions - The Summer Of ’42 and A Fine And Private Place. She designed the National Tour and Madison Square Garden productions of Cinderella, starring Eartha Kitt and has designed several editions of the Grammy Awards. Recent regional credits include Utah’s Pioneer Theatre, where she just designed the premiere of Find and Sign by Wendy Macleod, and Bruce Graham’s new play, The Outgoing Tide, for Philadelphia Theatre Company. She has designed several recent productions for Alabama Shakespeare Festival, the latest being The 39 Steps. Other regional theatre credits include Actors Theatre of Louisville, Indiana Repertory Theatre, Pittsburgh Public, Asolo Theatre, Berkshire Theatre Festival, the Huntington Theatre, Palo Alto’s Theatreworks and many musicals, new and old, for Goodspeed Opera and Northshore Music Theatre. Ms. Scofield has been on the faculty of Colby College and CUNY’s Queens College and has a Master’s degree in creative writing. She is a collaborator with and designer for dramatic dancer Joan Evans with whom she shares many awards, including an NEA grant and Edinburgh’s Fringe First Award for Where Ravens Rule.

Recent credits include the production design and lighting design for the new Blue Man Group show at Universal Studios in Florida, the National Tour for Blue Man Group and Snow Falling on Cedars at Hartford Stage. New York/ Off-Broadway credits includes Cosi Fan Tutte for Manhattan School of Music, Yosemite, The Wood, Post No Bills and Slipping at Rattlestick Playwright’s Theatre, Too Much Memory with New York Theatre Workshop and Rising Phoenix Rep., Tatjana in Color, wAve, The Tempest, Elliot a Soldier’s Fugue, Phedre (with JoAnne Akalaitis) and King Stag for the Juilliard School. MEGGINS KELLEY (Musical Staging Associate) is excited to be returning to stage the musical numbers for Geva Theatre Center's production of Company. Ms. Kelley is the founder and artistic director of Dancers' Alley Dance Studio. She is a long time faculty member of Nazareth College and has taught at NTID and the Eastman School of Music. Well known as a theatrical choreographer, Ms. Kelley's work can regularly be seen at Blackfriars and JCC Centerstage.

JEAN GORDON RYON (Dramaturg) serves as New Plays Coordinator at Geva Theatre Center where, among other duties, she produces the Regional Writers Showcase and the Young Writers Showcase. She was dramaturg for 1776, John Bull’s Other Island, That Was Then, Shear Madness and The Underpants, and The Clean House, Geva’s new production of A Christmas Carol, and she has contributed dramaturgical research and written program articles for several other productions. Ms. Ryon holds a degree in drama from Tufts University and a master’s degree in Arts Administration from Goucher College. Her most recent directing credits in the community include Grace and Glorie, Master Class, Blithe Spirit, Pride’s Crossing, and The Gin Game for Blackfriars, The Chosen and The Immigrant for JCC’s CenterStage, Juno and the Peacock, Da, Translations, Someone Who’ll Watch Over Me, Waiting for Godot, The Kings of the Kilburn High Road, Dancing at Lughnasa, Faith Healer, The Hostage, Love in the Title, and The Cripple of Inishmaan for RCP’s Irish Players, and Romeo and Juliet and Much Ado About Nothing for RCP’s Shakespeare Players. Ms. Ryon is also the Artistic Director of The Geriactors, a traveling troupe of mature actors.

VERONICA AGLOW (Production Stage Manager) returns to Geva Theatre Center where she last stage managed A Raisin in the Sun, A Christmas Carol, Dracula, On Golden Pond, Girls Night The Musical and assistant stage managed Superior Donuts, Perfect Wedding, The Music Man and Over the Tavern. Ms. Aglow recently stage managed the Philadelphia run of Girls Night at the Kimmel Center’s Innovation Studio, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Little Shop of Horrors at the Devon Theatre. Favorite credits include productions of Parade, Can-Can, and the world premiere of Broadway’s American Idiot. Ms. Aglow is a proud graduate of Point Park University. As always, she would like to thank her super-supportive parents, who have helped make her dreams a reality.

FRANK CAVALLO (Assistant Stage Manager) returns to Geva Theatre Center where he has stage managed numerous productions, including Superior Donuts, Perfect Wedding, On Golden Pond, The Music Man, A Raisin in the Sun, Anything Goes, Below the Belt, Five Guys Named Moe (twice), Vigil, several Reflections Festival premieres and the occasional production of A Christmas Carol. He has also worked as a stage manager at various other regional theatres, as the production manager for the Rochester Children’s Theatre at Nazareth College, and toured for Poetry in Motion with Ms. Salome Jens’ one woman show, About Anne…, featuring the poetry of Anne Sexton. JULIE ANN MADONIA (Assistant Stage Manager) started at Geva Theatre Center as an Apprentice Stage Manager for the 1995-1996 and 1996-1997 Seasons. Her favorite shows during those seasons included Laughter on the 23rd Floor, A Christmas Carol, Later Life, Five Guys Named Moe and Antigone. She is also honored to have been a part of the opening season of the Nextstage, for which she stage managed Stop Kiss and Women Who Steal. Ms. Madonia has previously stage managed three years of Hibernatus Interruptus as well as Stars of Geva in conjunction with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra.
